China is a major exporter of office furniture in the world, and industrial clusters have naturally taken shape. Among the major office furniture production areas, Zhongshan City is the "China Office Furniture Industry Base" recognized by the China Association of China.
In 2012, the China Furniture Association awarded Zhongshan the title of "China Office Furniture Industry Base".
Location: Zhongshan is located on the southern coast of China, is one of the central cities in the Pearl River Delta and the core city of China's Greater Bay Area.
Zhongshan's furniture industry started from the early 1980s, after years of development, the product from the original single desk, chair production to office furniture series development, has formed a desk, chair, file cabinet, OA screen, office sofa, swivel chair, intelligent office furniture, IT furniture, outdoor chair and various types of supporting furniture ten series, varieties of about 2,000 kinds of styles.
Zhongshan furniture industry to office furniture, outdoor furniture and upholstered furniture manufacturing, furniture raw materials, hardware and woodworking machinery and other supporting products are readily available. Office furniture has a high industry visibility and market share among similar products in the world.
In order to develop furniture brands, Zhongshan office furniture enterprises actively participate in major furniture exhibitions such as Guangzhou, Shanghai Pudong and Shanghai Hongqiao, so that more people can understand "Zhongshan" furniture.
By the end of 2011, there were 1298 furniture manufacturing enterprises registered with the Zhongshan market management department, and nearly 2721 furniture sales companies and furniture store enterprises.
According to the statistics of Zhongshan Bureau of Statistics and Customs, from January to October 2017, Zhongshan exported furniture and its parts of 5.480 billion yuan, an increase of 10.5% year-on-year.
